Living Beauty Cancer Foundation believes that empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to the human condition are what first, above all else, allow us to truly and selflessly help others. We believe that empowering women when it comes to their health is a vital part of supporting a woman who is diagnosed with cancer. All of our programs and services are designed to empower women in this way to guide their own healing journey. 

Living Beauty Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, functioning as an activity and service-oriented organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of women living with cancer, including through survivorship or metastasis. By offering innovative and caring solutions to the challenges that women on their cancer journeys face daily, Living Beauty is able to realize its mission.

It is estimated that more than 30% of women in the United States will develop cancer in their lifetime. As treatments advance and more women are living with cancer and the life-long side effects from their cancer treatment, there is even more of a need for comprehensive holistic healthcare. Integrative wellness programs, like those that Living Beauty provides, are a vital addition to cancer treatment. Recognizing this need since 2005, we are driven by the understanding that the challenges women have to overcome during and after a cancer diagnosis are complex and multifaceted.

Living with cancer and the harsh treatments that often accompany the disease are known to lead to isolation, depression, high stress, anxiety, decreased physical ability and altered physical appearance. With this in mind, programs are specifically designed to facilitate the healing of an individual as a whole: mind, body and spirit. Living Beauty cares about each individual woman, and applies a holistic approach to provide women with education, knowledge and skills to feel empowered when it comes to their health and individual healing needs.

“Those who have met my mother know what kind of outrageously beautiful soul she is. Through her 8-year cancer journey, she inspired us all by transforming her pain and suffering into hope. She inspired a community of women to let light filter in through the cracks of the darkness of a cancer diagnosis.

Living Beauty Cancer Foundation took shape in 2005 by responding to her need and longing for quality of life in the physically and emotionally exhausting cancer journey. With the advancement of cancer treatments, more women are left struggling to understand how to live with the taxing effects long term. I have great pride that my mother’s legacy is the guiding light that allows Living Beauty to educate, uplift and inspire these women to thrive and heal along their cancer journey. It is also this guiding light that leads our Living Beauties out of the emotional isolation of cancer and into each other’s supportive and nurturing arms.
